Interactive News View of #CJONTRIAL once again offers PINOYsa new way to experience news reports.  they have created a live text data visualization of the opinion of people on Twitter, Facebook, blogs and other sites regarding the ongoing trial of Philippine Supreme Court Chief Justice Renato Corona.

using the Infomous web app, an interactive, real-time word cloud is formed. users can click and navigate the sources and change the view to focus on more relevant terms.

the size indicates the relevance and number of times each word is mentioned on the web, while related words are linked together with lines to help you grasp their context.

in less than 4hrs, the english wikipedia will be blacked out globally in protest of the Stop Online Piracy Act (SOPA).

"Today, the Wikipedia community announced its decision to black out the English-language Wikipedia for 24 hours, worldwide, beginning at 05:00 UTC on Wednesday, January 18 (you can read the statement from the Wikimedia Foundation here). The blackout is a protest against proposed legislation in the United States – the Stop Online Piracy Act (SOPA) in the U.S. House of Representatives, and the PROTECT IP Act (PIPA) in the U.S. Senate – that, if passed, would seriously damage the free and open Internet, including Wikipedia."
